Update your voicemail with forwarding information while out of office, or set up calls to be forwarded.

Professional behavior includes limiting personal conversations in publicly accessible areas and restricting long conversations with the public, volunteers, and/or program participants to appropriate business-related subjects. To provide the highest level of customer service, employees should limit the use of personal cell phones and devote their attention to customers and coworkers, to ensure that they are accessible and available. Employees are expected to demonstrate professionalism in all interactions with other employees, government workers, vendors, and the public.

Customer Service Attendants and all direct customer- facing employees are to keep their personal cell phones silent and out of customer view.

PRCS employees are required to wear their County Identification badge when working, except for employees in safety sensitive positions. PRCS employees should not wear PRCS issued uniforms or their County Identification Badge unless performing County business or going to or from work. Uniform guidelines specific to Facility Attendants and Customer Service Assistants PRCS Issued Uniform: PRCS long sleeve and short sleeve shirts. Optional: PRCS fleece jacket, fleece vest, or cardigan. The Department provides designated employees with shirts and apparel that must be worn when maintaining facilities, supervising and/or implementing programs at sites or outdoors, and/or within program areas in accordance with county guidelines. Employees are expected to follow the PRCS Uniform and Dress Code Guidelines.
