Fascinating Fireflies All Ages Summer nights are illuminated by the glow of fireflies as they treat us to a magnificent light show display. Participate in the citizen science program “Firefly Watch” and uncover the mystery of this beautiful beetle. ART & MUSIC Beginning Photography

Ages 9-12 Join us for this 3-part photography class. You will learn about composition and how to take great photos no matter what the subject is or what camera you have. Bring your camera (digital or phone), we will be capturing images around the park. Come join us for an educational program to learn about what a crepuscular animal is and when it is most active. We will learn about the local animals through a hands-on program and a short hike/walk to try to see signs of life we might be able to discover. This program will culminate with a stop by a campfire overlooking the Franklin Park Pond with some s’mores and hot chocolate. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
