ARTS FOR ALL LOUDOUN: THE WIZARD OF OZ ,YOUTH EDITION (All ages) Arts For All Loudoun provides exceptional opportunities in Loudoun County, for artists and performers with disabilities to participate in a creative, inclusive community. Celebrating their 35th anniversary with the musical that bloomed into 35 year of success for individuals with disabilities. Young Dorothy Gale and her dog Toto are swept away by a tornado from their Kansas farm to the magical Land of Oz, and embark on a quest with three new friends to see the Wizard, who can return her to her home and also fulfill the wishes of her friends. Arts For All Loudoun is offering a special sensory-friendly night on March 14 for families with children who may have sensitivity to lights, sound, noises, and crowded areas. There will be a shortened intermission and no concessions offered. Step into out Digitalis Planetarium set up on our stage and be part of an interactive planetarium show on the planets, stars and the Spring Equinox. The second hour will be a 360-degree immersive film, The Cowboy Astronomer, a skillfully woven tapestry of star tales and Native American legends. Explore the stars from a cowboy's point of view! Narrated by cowboy poet and humorist Baxter Black. All children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied by an adult. TANGLEWOOD MARIONETTES: SLEEPING BEAUTY (Ages 2 & up) A charming tale which with a storybook set and beautiful marionettes. $5 W 3/27 10:00am (Ages 8 & up) NEW! After watching Tanglewood Marion- ettes perform Sleeping Beauty, campers will have a snack break (bring your own snack) at the arts center and then take part in this unique marionette manipulation workshop. $25 W 3/27 10:00am-12:30pm PUPPET SHOW AND MARIONETTE MANIPULATION WORKSHOP CAMP GOODLIFE THEATER: RECYCLING PIRATES Celebrate Earth month with a rollicking musical about puppet characters created from trash. Led by Captain Jack Sparetire, they sail the urban seas looking for things to recycle, reuse, reduce and repair.
