Plants In Art: Tracing Nature’s Rhythm Ages 16+ This class focuses on creative botanical compositions: Participants choose a plant that interests them from a selection of dried and potted plants, then use tracing and carbon paper to repeat botanical shapes creating stunning compositions. Photos are also provided, making this class suitable for all levels. Tinted paper and water-soluble colored pencils give the final piece color and character. Instructor: Sarah Sa 10:30am-12:30pm 4/11 $20 305713-01 Plants In Art: Plants & Poetry Ages 16+ This class focuses on using cyanotypes and found poetry: Participants use cyanotype paper to make a sun print of their arrangement of dried plants. While the artwork dries, we use a found poetry method to find a poem to go on to the artwork. All skill levels are welcome in this intuitive and fun activity. Introduction to Kendo emphasizes a strong understanding of Kendo basics, including etiquette, footwork and basic strikes. This class will provide an introduction to Kendo and requires no experience.
