Gallery Exhibits All exhibits feature original artwork from Loudoun artists. Artists interested in exhibiting must be 18+ years unless otherwise stated. Entry fees apply. Western Loudoun Art & Studio Tour (WLAST) WLAST celebrates their 18th Tour with a weekend of studio tour demonstrations. Franklin Park Arts Center will host painter Anne Marshall Block, fiber artist Patricia Stephenson, pastel artist Hope Hanes and ceramist Yousong Largent. F-Su 10:00am-5:00pm 6/6-6/8 Free Inspired By Frida Kahlo Artwork in all media will be accepted into this exhibit honoring Frida Kahlo. This iconic Mexican artist is celebrated for her attention to the indigenous culture of Mexico and her depiction of the female form. Artist entry fee $20 for up to 3 pieces with drop off on 6/9 and 6/10. Admission to the exhibit is free. M-F 9:00am-5:00pm 6/12-7/27 Free Ocean Treasures Take a journey to the seaside as your explore this exhibit of artwork depicting treasures found under, in and around the ocean as well as beach scenes, underwater worlds, sea life -- maybe even some pirates! Loudoun County artists use their imagination and real life experiences to create artwork for this summer exhibit with cash prizes sponsored by Friends of Franklin Park Arts Center. Artist entry fee $20 for up to 3 pieces with drop off on 7/28 and 7/29. Admission to the exhibit is free. M-F 9:00am-5:00pm 7/31-8/7 Free

Bob Ross Painting Workshop Ages 16+ You have seen Bob Ross create his paintings on PBS and YouTube, now it’s time to paint your own masterpiece along with a certified Bob Ross instructor. Complete an original painting through guided instruction. Bring an empty pizza box to take your completed painting home and wear clothes that can get paint on them. Each workshop is limited to 10 people. All materials included in fee. Certified Instructor: Sandra Hill F 4:00-7:00pm 7/11 $85 463716-01 Ages 21+ Monthly sketching with model in our gallery. Begin with short poses and quick draw techniques, then progress to longer poses focusing on the entire human form. Bring your own drawing supplies.
