S U M M E R In keeping with our commitment to excellence and outstanding services, we are pleased to announce the Ashburn Recreation and Community Center (ARCC) will open later this summer. This state-of-the-art facility will include our largest gymnasium yet with twelve basketball hoops and line markings for pickleball, badminton, and volleyball. For aquatic resources, ARCC will also include an Olympic-sized competition pool and a leisure pool. On the second floor, cardio and strength equipment, an indoor running track, and a spin studio will be featured to round out the facility’s fitness area. After an invigorating workout or recreational session, visitors can unwind in the ARCC's innovative recovery room - the first of its kind in a PRCS center. This space will offer cryo- lounges, Normatec compression, hydromassage, and red-light therapy. ARCC will also feature an outdoor splash pad, a sensory room, multipurpose rooms, a teaching kitchen, classrooms, offices, and meeting spaces to provide ample opportunities for learning, socializing, and community engagement. We hope you will join us for the formal ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of this greatly anticipated facility. The official date will be announced as we get closer to the opening. The Ashburn Recreation and Community Center will be an incredible resource to connect all communities, and you. Whether you are beating the heat at one of our outdoor pools, finding community in one of our Caregiver support programs, or experiencing a new recreational activity, your Department of Loudoun County Parks, Recreation, and Community Services strives to serve you and your family this summer.

Warmest regards,

Steve Torpy, Director
