TEEN SERVICES
Teen Volunteer Program The Teen Volunteer Program provides an opportunity to complete your community service hours in a dynamic setting. Volunteer opportunities vary and may include service hours in children’s programs, parks and community centers. Current volunteer opportunities are for high school teens. Visit loudoun.gov/Teens to submit the PRCS volunteer application. WORK Program The Work Ordered Repayment Kids (WORK) Program provides an additional step in the graduated sanctions available to individuals who are given community service hours by the courts. The WORK Program is a supervised community service program that develops work sites in and around Loudoun parks, community centers, and various PRCS programs. Youth Advisory Council Members of the Loudoun Youth Advisory Council have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, meet new people, and be a voice for Loudoun’s teens. Members work with local nonprofits to plan special events, (e.g., Loudoun’s Battle of the Bands and Step Up), work on community service projects, participate in leadership field trips, and promote teen-centered events. Spaces are limited in this competitive program; applications are accepted on a rolling basis. For more information and applications, please visit loudoun.gov/Teens.
