SPECIAL EVENTS Fall Festival

All Ages Spend a beautiful fall day outdoors at CMP! Enjoy music and pumpkin painting. Shop from hand-made crafts for sale by local artists. View the amazing work of entrants to the Friends of CMP’s 16 th Annual Photo Expo. Food available for purchase. No registration required. Use the Loudoun Park Lane entrance and follow the signs. Event will be held rain or shine. Sa 10:00am-3:00pm 9/21 Free 16 th Annual Photo Expo At CMP All Ages See the extraordinary work of local photographers as they capture the theme “Natural Spaces and Old Places.” In this juried show, sponsored by the Friends of Claude Moore Park, the winning photos will be on display in the historic Lanesville Ordinary and Caretakers House. Viewers can vote for their favorite photo to win the Paul Glascock Memorial People’s Choice Award. Photos may be entered into the contest until Friday, September 13. Family Fishing Day All Ages Beginner or pro, all are welcome to join us at the pond for some angling adventures. Instruction will be available for individuals. Poles and bait will be available on a first come first serve basis. Catch and release only. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Anyone over the age of 16 must have a VA freshwater fishing license. No trout license is needed.
