Field Trips For Preschool, Elementary, & Homeschool All Ages Have a group looking for some exciting nature, science, or history fun? Visit the park for themed educational and SOL related field trips. Call 571-258- 3700 for information, prices, and reservations. All Ages Have a special interest you would like to explore here at Claude Moore Park? Join together with a Park Naturalist and create your own unique park experience. Activities can range from archery, campfires, hiking, fishing, historic tours, and much more. Create Your Own Experience All Ages Celebrate the holiday season with Claude Moore Park. Take a stroll to check out the holiday lights and decorations. Enjoy hot chocolate and toasting marshmallows (provided, Halal available). Help your neighbors by donating a new hat or gloves for the “Winter Warmth Tree” and try out some crafts. Sa 4:00-7:00pm 12/6 Free 261706-01 All Ages Holiday light displays will be available for viewing during a special extended opening of Claude Moore Park. Stop by for a leisurely night stroll (self- guided) down Vestals Gap Rd and into the historic district to enjoy the festive decorations. Friday and Saturday nights we will host a campfire, marshmallows, and hot chocolate. Park closes promptly at 7:00pm. Story Stroll All Ages Enjoy a self-guided story stroll in Meadow Glen Park. Follow the story of Winter Dance by Marion Dane Bauer and learn about how animals approach winter. Lucky for the elves Santa has left clues along the trail. Join us for the second annual Elf Scramble 3K and help the elves in their quest. Registration will include swag to put a little jingle in your run. Donation box for Toys for Tots will be available for those of you wishing to make another child’s holiday a little merrier. NATURE Christmas Bird Count

All Ages Participate in the nation’s longest-running community science bird project, the Christmas Bird Count. Please dress for the weather and be prepared for trail walk. PRCS will have a limited supply of binoculars available for your use, and hot chocolate on hand!
