Winter Story Stroll & Campfire All Ages Enjoy an enchanting self-guided story stroll through wooded trails. Stop along the trail to read, interact, and immerse yourself in the exciting story. After the stroll relax at a comfy campfire and roast delicious marshmallows (provided, Halal available). Foil pack cooking will include small meal and a healthy treat. (provided, Halal available). Su 11:00am-12:30pm 2/22 Free 261715-01 Group Campfires All Ages Bring your group to join a naturalist for some campfire fun. We’ll build the fire and supply the marshmallows and sticks. MULTIAGE & INTERPRETIVE PROGRAMS For the following programs, children MUST be accompanied by an adult unless noted. Minimum numbers required to run programs; please register in advance. Park Pals Ages 2-6 Take part in a fun and exciting hands-on learning experience with your grown-up pal! Each week we will focus on a different outdoor related topic while exploring the park (Monday/Tuesday classes will be identical). Feeding Time For All All Ages Feed the critters and feed yourself with Claude Moore Park and Virginia Cooperative Extension Nutrition. Some animals eat the same things we do, watch them enjoy some fruits and veggies and try them out as well. Limited space available at a first come first served basis. Travel through the park looking for various birds that stick around during the winter. See who flying about and help us add to our bird count. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Sa 10:00-11:00am 2/14 Free 261718-01 CMP Gaming Adventures Ages 8-14 Follow a Game Master for an exciting story driven adventure through the trails of Claude Moore Park. Create your own fantasy character and roll some dice as you use your imagination to tackle different challenges along your way.
