Projects vary and may include assisting with programs at our center, working with children, supporting special events, or partnering with local organizations such as parks and trails, senior centers, and other community based groups. These events give teens the chance to get involved in their community, make a difference, and earn volunteer hours for school. Free club for your middle schooler! Join a safe and supportive environment of peers and role models where students learn to see themselves as a computer scientists. You’ll learn the concepts of loops, variables, conditionals, and functions that form the basis of all programming languages. Requirements: laptop or Chromebook equipped with Scratch or Python apps.
