Novel Expressions Art and Film Contest Gala

Area teens and adults are invited to enter the “Novel Expressions Art and Film Contest” sponsored by Loudoun County Public Library, the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services and the Loudoun Youth Advisory Council. Participants may choose any book from their summer reading list and create a piece of artwork or a short film. Contest Gala at Franklin Park Arts Center on Sat., Oct. 28, 2023!

Gallery Exhibits Fabric Challenge Exhibit 9/28 – 10/29 Artists submit artwork using a “fat quarter“. Sewn, woven or crocheted textiles, mobiles or 3-D pieces, quilts, or mixed media creations. The Sky’s the Limit Exhibit 11/1-12/3 Featuring real or imagined amazing skies, cloud formations, sunsets and sunrises, starry night skies from Loudoun and regional artists.

Complete an original painting through guided instruction. Bring an empty pizza box to take your completed painting home and wear clothes that can get paint on them.
