Quentin Walston, Jazz Residency Quentin Walston is an active pianist, composer, and music educator in the Washington DC area. He composes for piano, his jazz trio, and large ensembles, blending memorable melodies and striking rhythms with adventurous improvisations. This program is supported by the Virginia Commission for the Arts. SONGWRITING FOR YOUNG MUSICIANS (AGES 8-13) Musicians learn the skills to create their own music!
