PARKS FOR POLLINATORS BIOBLITZ (All ages) Calling all citizen scientists! September is BioBlitz Month. As part of a national effort organized by NRPA, all Loudoun County parks are participating as BioBlitz project locations. This ‘BioBlitz’ is a collaborative race against the clock to discover as many species as possible within a set location during the month of September. Using iNaturalist and a mobile phone, participants go through the park taking pictures of the organisms they find to document as many plants, animals, and fungi as possible. Stop in at any PRCS Park Visitor Center or search iNatural- ist to join the effort.
