BEGINNER HULA New to hula and Polynesian Dance? Join us to learn the basic hula steps and movements. We will also build your hula dance repertoire. Stay for Polynesian Dance Fitness for a more low-impact exercise and learn new dances with the intermediate dance group. Get in the aloha spirit-bring a sarong or large scarf, a lei, or hair flower to wear if you have them. Th ongoing 10:00am-10:30am POLYNESIAN FITNESS DANCE Hula, Tahitian Samoan dance styles, new and exciting dance workout inspired by the dances of the Pacific Islands. It is a 60-minute total body workout that isolates your larger muscle groups, increasing strength and definition to your core with specific emphasis on the abs, quads and arms. SENIOR MEMBERSHIP (Ages 55 & up) Senior participants may purchase twelve-month memberships or attend on a drop-in basis. The cost of many activities is included in the member- ship or drop-in fee. Any additional fees will be noted in the activity listing. Please note some activities are not open for drop-ins. Memberships are processed during operating hours. Membership fee: $36 resident, $54 non-resident, $3 drop-in fee. SPECIAL EVENTS Please contact the Dulles South Senior Center for more information about special events for seniors.
