GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES (Ages 16 & up) The following Land and Aqua Fitness classes are included with facility passes.Six month and annual pass holders may sign up ahead of time. Spaces will be reserved in all classes for drop-in. Please check our website for the most up-to-date schedule.

FIRST AID COURSES

BARRE This class mixes elements from Pilates, yoga, and dance where the moves are choreographed to music. In each energizing and targeted workout, you’ll use the barre and exercise equipment to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body. GENTLE, LOW IMPACT GLO is our specialty class focused on strength and mobility for those looking for a gentler workout routine. HATHA YOGA Traditional practice designed to restore the body and mind to a balanced state through a series of poses sequenced to detox the system and move energy through the body based on the science of yoga. HIP HOP STEP This 60-minute-high energy group cardio workout set to upbeat hip hop music will have you second guessing what you remember from step aerobics from decades past. Movements such as high knees, kicks, punches, jumping jacks and more are guaranteed to raise your heartbeat to anaerobic levels and assure maximum caloric expenditure. POUND A full-body workout designed for all fitness levels, combining cardio, conditioning, and strength training with Pilates-inspired movements. Light weight drumsticks (Ripstix) are provided to drum to the beat of fun and engaging music. This is a high energy class open to all fitness levels. YIN YOGA Beautiful meditative practice designed to open fascia and joints by sitting quietly in poses for 3 to 5 minutes. Class includes an hour of poses followed by an optional 15 minutes of meditation. ZUMBA A total workout combining all the elements of fitness, cardio, muscular endurance, balance and boosted energy with a serious dose of awesome every time you come to class. ZUMBA STRONG A combination of body weight exercises, muscle conditioning, cardio training and plyometrics all put together to the beat of the music. No more counting reps - ev- ery lunge, curl and press is synced to music making your road to fitness more fun.

ADULT & PEDIATRIC FIRST AID/CPR/AED (Ages 12 & up) This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. This is a blended learning course in- cluding an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high-speed Internet connection. Allow approximately 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the online portion. This training will teach participants basic childcare, leadership skills, how to develop a babysitting business and ways to keep themselves and others safe and help children behave. FITNESS CLASSES

PERSONAL TRAINING (Ages 12 & up)We offer 30 and 60-minute individual and semi-private personal training packages to help you reach your health and fitness goals. Our team of certified personal trainers can provide as much help as necessary to develop a consistent & efficient workout plan to achieve your fitness goals and to help make exercise a life-long habit. Patrons can sign up for 4, 8, or 12 personal training sessions by appointment only.

AQUA FITNESS

DEEP WATER SPLASH Join us in Deep Water Splash to add gentle impact cardio and resistance training to your fitness routine in the deep end of the pool. Participants must wear floata- tion belts and be able to swim. H20 FIT Welcome back to Water Fitness here at Claude Moore. This class is Low Impact but High Intensity FUN in the pool. H20 Fit combines cardio and strength training in the comfort and ease of the water. Fun routines and specific exercises are incorporated to improve coordination and joint stability.
