Science: Potions & Explosions Ages 5-11 In this program, we will create “magic” potions and exciting chemical reactions that will blow your mind. Erupt a volcano, make indoor snow, grow crystals, blast a rocket into the air, and more. Introduction to Kendo emphasizes a strong understanding of Kendo basics, including etiquette, footwork and basic strikes. This class will provide an introduction to Kendo and requires no experience. The expectation is participants move on to the regular kendo class after 1-2 semesters of the beginner’s class. This class is for experienced Kendo participants who want to further their skills. Gi, hakama, and shinai are required, bogu is strongly encouraged.
