BioBlitz All Ages Join us at Franklin Park for a great opportunity to be a Citizen Scientist by participating in BioBlitz. BioBlitz is a biological survey to record all the living species within a designated area. Please come dressed for the weather as this is an outside event. The event will feature multiple local rescues and shelters, vendors, dog games, a splash pad, and other fun activities. Su 10:00am-4:00pm 9/7 Free 162722-01 Dog Splash Party All Ages & Breeds Join us for a splashing good time at the Franklin Park Puppy Splash Pad. We will have the water treated to be safe for your furry friends along with some fun other surprises. Only dogs will be permitted in the water. Current Bordatella, Rabies and Distemper vaccinations required. All dogs must have valid tags and collars on during event. Cost is $5 per adult 16+ and each may bring up to 2 dogs. Anyone over the age of 16 years must have a valid Virginia State Freshwater fishing license to participate. Limited fishing poles and bait will be available to use.
